Yeast

Yeast is very versatile in that combines both the advantages of prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems thus providing a system with growth speed and easy genetic manipulation with the cost-effectiveness of prokaryotic expression systems. PTL can provide both preclinical and cGMP production and also offers:

  • A choice of Saccharomyces cerevisae and Pichia Pastoris expression systems.

Insect

Baculovirus expression is a powerful and versatile system for producing high levels of recombinant protein expression in insect cells. The advantages of insect cell expression are that it offers posttranslational modifications similar to mammalian cells with high levels of protein expression and ease of scale-up.
